In this session, James Dailey will explore the frontier of the global payments systems and how financial inclusion can become better of or even create its own modern infrastructure which provides the fluidity needed for the unbanked to be a part of this critical channel of financial inclusion. We'll look at the current national switches and gateways and explore how new technologies and mobile banking can help to modernize, streamline, and lower the cost and friction of sending money.

Our existing Android client provides support for the core operations that need to be done in the field. Help us explore the other processes and procedures that can be enabled via the smartphone. We already have an extensive list of features and requirements from offline to biometrics to GIS capabilities that we're exploring for Phase 2 of our Android mobile client development.

This session will explore the landscape of mobile financial services by looking at the various mobile money platforms and how we can integrate those into our platform, identifying and cultivating new products and services that can only be delivered via mobile money, and evolving the mobile wallet to become a sophisticated tool for financial inclusion.
